MKK PhaseCap Film Capacitors

EPCOS / TDK MKK PhaseCap Film Capacitors offer self-healing technology, 50A to 80A maximum terminal current rating, and ±5% tolerance. The MKK series is naturally air-cooled and features polypropylene film dielectric construction and optimized capacitor safety terminals. These capacitors have safety terminals with M4 and M5 screws and an extruded round aluminum can style with a stud. The featured robust winding design with wave-cutting technology allows the capacitors to be submitted to inrush currents equivalent to 500 times the rated current. However, in the event of an overload, all three phases are disconnected from the mains via an internal overpressure disconnector.
