Bidirectional Power over Ethernet

Power over Ethernet combines data and power delivery over the same twisted pair cable. While standard PoE is unidirectional, driving energy from a PSE to a PD variants exist that are capable of transferring energy in either direction. This can have advantages in distributed IoT systems.
