STMicroelectronics BlueNRG-248 BLUETOOTH® Low Energy (BLE) System-on-Chip (SoC) is a very low power single-mode wireless SoC compliant with BLUETOOTH specification. This SoC includes 256KB of programming flash-memory, 24KB of static RAM memory with retention (two 12KB banks) and SPI, UART, and I2C standard communication interface peripherals. The BlueNRG-248 SoC also features multifunction timers, watchdog, RTC, and DMA controller. This chip has an integrated high-efficiency DC/DC converter for ultra-low power characteristics. Typical applications include watches, consumer medical, fitness, sports, home and industrial automation, security, mobile phone peripherals, PC peripherals, remote control, and lighting.
