The Renesas devices incorporate the ISL29501 Time of Flight (ToF) ICs to deliver a wide range of distance measurements. The ISL29501 design is optimized for handheld applications and includes the RA2A1 MCU. The analog support of the MCU allows USB charging for an Li-ion battery. The devices feature voltage and current monitoring that can be controlled with real-time feedback. Charging mode can be adjusted as required.
