Nordic Semiconductor nRF9151 Low-Power System-in-Package (SiP)
Nordic Semiconductor nRF9151 Low-Power System-in-Package (SiP) modules are compact, fully integrated devices offering enhanced power options for advanced cellular Internet-of-Things (IoT) and DECT NR+ applications. These devices employ low-power LTE technology, advanced processing capabilities, and robust security features to offer unparalleled performance and versatility. The nRF9151 System-on-Chip (SoC) devices contain power management and an RF front-end. These modules support a Class 5 20dBm output power in addition to the nominal Class 3 23dBm output, providing greater flexibility for user development.
The nRF9151 SiPs are compatible with the existing nRF91 series portfolio, leveraging identical modem firmware. These modules will allow a seamless upgrade from nRF9161 and nRF9131 to nRF9151. These modules feature a 20% reduced footprint, allowing them to be used in compact IoT applications, such as wearable devices and smart sensors, without sacrificing performance.
