Torex Semiconductor XC911x Step-Up DC/DC Controller ICs

Torex Semiconductor XC911x Step-Up DC/DC Controller ICs offer programmable output voltage ranges and options for controlling the operation mode. The XC9120/XC9121/XC9122 series ICs allow for an output voltage range of 1.5V to 30V, while the XC9110/XC9111 series ICs offer a range of 1.5V to 7V. The XC9120/XC9121/XC9122 series ICs automatically switch between PWM and PFM modes or via external signals. Similarly, the XC9110/XC9111 series ICs use PFM control and adjust operation based on load conditions. Both series ICs feature low current consumption in standby mode. The XC9120/XC9121/XC9122 series ICs consume as low as 1μA or less. The XC9110/XC9111 series ICs include versions with a CE pin to shut down the IC and reduce consumption.

Both series operate with external components to achieve the desired performance. The XC9120/XC9121/XC9122 series ICs use external resistors and capacitors, while the XC9110/XC9111 series ICs include external transistors to handle larger currents. The XC9120/XC9121/XC9122 series boasts a reference voltage accuracy of ±2.0%, while the XC9110/9111 series delivers an accuracy of ±2.5%.
