Texas Instruments TPS62830x Synchronous Step-Down Converters
Texas Instruments TPS62830x Synchronous Step-Down Converters are easy-to-use DC/DC converters with low quiescent current and 1% accuracy. These converters provide a fast transient response with small output capacitance based on DCS-Control™ topology. The TPS62830x converters feature an internal reference that allows the output voltage to be regulated down to 0.5V with a 1% high feedback voltage accuracy. These converters operate at -40°C to 125°C temperature range and are available in two pin-to-pin compatible packages. The TPS62830x converters consist of a MODE-pin to control the device mode of operation and power save mode to maintain high-efficiency for extending system battery run-time.The TPS62830x converters provide HICCUP short-circuit protection and thermal shutdown for fault protection. These converters are available in an 8-pin 1mm x 2mm QFN package and an 8-pin 1.6mm x 2.1mm SOT583 package. Typical applications include solid-state drives, portable electronics, analog security, IP-network cameras, industrial PCs, factory automation and control, ASIC, SoC, MCU supply, and generic point of load.
