Texas Instruments TMAG6180-Q1 Angle Sensor

Texas Instruments TMAG6180-Q1 Angle Sensor is a high-precision sensor based on the Anisotropic Magneto Resistive (AMR) technology. This angle sensor provides differential sine and cosine analog outputs related to the applied in-plane magnetic field direction. The TMAG6180-Q1 sensor features two independent Hall sensor outputs at the X and Y axes, which can be used to extend the angle range of the sensor to 360°. This sensor also features ultra-low latency on the sine and cosine outputs to minimize latency-related angle errors. The TMAG6180-Q1 sensor is AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive applications.

The TMAG6180-Q1 sensor offers diagnostics functions to support safety automotive and industrial requirements. This sensor operates across the -40°C to 150°C ambient temperature range with minimal thermal drift and lifetime errors. The TMAG6180-Q1 sensor is used in steering angle sensors, electric power steering, E-bikes, wiper modules, actuators, traction motors, and servo drive position sensors.
