TE Connectivity / Raychem RayBraid Braided Cables
TE Connectivity / Raychem RayBraid Braided Cables provide high-performance metallic oversleeves with excellent EMI shielding and lightning protection. These braided cables oversleeves are compatible with CRES-Lock band strap and Tinel-Lock backshell termination systems. The RayBraid braided cables include the traditional RayBraid tubular former core to aid easy installation onto wire bundles. These braided cables are available in Ray-90 or Ray-10X, offering different styles based on optical coverage and plating options. The RayBraid cables offer tin-plated copper strands for Ray-90 and Ray-101, and nickel-plated copper strands for Ray-103, improving storage life and temperature rating up to 200°C.
The RayBraid braided cables offer an INSTALITE Lightweight Braid (LWB) option that delivers up to 50% weight savings over traditional copper braids. These INSTALITE braids offer excellent electrical shielding performance over a wide frequency range. The INSTALITE lightweight braids are made from a high-performance nickel-plated copper alloy and are more flexible than standard industry metal braids. Typical applications include military harnesses, commercial aerospace, unmanned vehicles, and space.
