Semtech HDMI ESD Protection Devices deliver full-channel protection for HDMI interfaces and other high-speed differential data lines in consumer, industrial, and embedded systems. Semtech positions its HDMI protection portfolio to safeguard sensitive interface silicon from electrostatic discharge while preserving signal integrity on high-speed audio and video links.
The protection devices are designed to defend against ESD, cable discharge events, and electrical fast transients without introducing excessive capacitive loading on performance-critical lines. Semtech HDMI ESD Protection Devices use ultra-low-capacitance TVS and RailClamp technologies with package designs optimized for high-speed PCB routing, helping support modern HDMI implementations and other high-speed differential interfaces.
The Semtech HDMI ESD Protection Devices are ideal for HDMI 2.1, HDMI 2.0, HDMI 1.4, and related interfaces, including DisplayPort, USB, Thunderbolt, MIPI, DVI, PCI Express, eSATA, and LVDS. The devices are intended for designs that need high ESD withstand capability, low capacitance, compact packaging, and minimal signal disruption across multiple protected data lines.
