Qorvo QPL1842 CATV RF Amplifier IC
Qorvo QPL1842 CATV RF Amplifier IC is a GaAs pHEMT differential MMIC RF amplifier designed to deliver 25dB of gain and low noise performance across the 5MHz to 850MHz frequency range. Engineered for high linearity, the Qorvo QPL1842 supports Broadband CATV DOCSIS 4.0 systems, including nodes, distribution amplifiers, Remote PHY devices, FTTH networks, home gateways, and cable modems. A blend of low noise, excellent distortion characteristics, and high gain makes the QPL1842 an ideal choice for drop amplifiers and other distribution‑class amplifiers. Operating from a single supply voltage between 5V and 8V, the device draws 250ma to 350mA of current. At 5V and within the 5MHz to 700MHz range, the QPL1842 delivers 64.5dBmV TCP with a 51dB CCN. The amplifier comes in a compact 12‑pin, 5mm × 5mm laminate module, offering ease of integration into modern broadband system designs.
