Power Integrations RDK-85SLR Design Kit is developed specifically for solar-powered race cars and includes everything necessary to create a 46W power supply that delivers up to 80W for short periods. The kit offers energy-efficient technologies, such as PowiGaN™, to create an auxiliary power supply without a heatsink, achieving up to 95% efficiency across both light and full loads with a wide output range of 5W to 60W. Power Integrations RDK-85SLR Design Kit includes PI™ InnoSwitch™3-AQ flyback power supply ICs with PI's PowiGaN gallium-nitride switch technology, a sample power supply, and an unpopulated PCB, along with transformer build instructions, schematics, a PCB layout guide, a parts list, performance data, and live tech support. This reference kit is engineered to maximize efficiency in auxiliary power supplies in solar race cars, enabling more compact and lightweight designs.
