Ohmite RW5 5W High Power Wirewound Resistors

Ohmite RW5 5W High Power Wirewound Resistors incorporate fins identical to a heatsink that increases the surface area of the part and allows for greater power dissipation. This unique design enables a small footprint. These 5W resistors are extremely stable with a load life drift of only 1%. A special flat has been designed into the part for pick-and-place operations. The RW5 components feature 5W power, high power density, a wide resistance range (0.1Ω to 50KΩ), a non-inductive range of 0.1Ω to 12.5KΩ, tight tolerances, and a low TCR. The RW5 5W High Power Wirewound Resistors operate within a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C with temperature coefficients of 0.1Ω to 0.99Ω at ±90ppm, 1Ω to 10Ω at ±50ppm, and 10Ω+ at ±20ppm, resistance range of 0.1Ω to 50KΩ.
