MaxLinear MxL86112 Single Port 1G Ethernet PHY

MaxLinear MxL86112 Single Port 1G Ethernet PHY is a low-power Ethernet PHY transceiver integrated circuit (IC). It offers a cost-optimized solution that is well-suited for routers, switches, and home gateways. MxL86112 performs data transmission over a Category 5 or higher twisted-pair copper Ethernet cable and supports data rates of 1000Mbit/s, 100Mbit/s, and 10Mbit/s.

The MaxLinear MxL86112 is compliant with the following standards: 1000BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, and 10BASE-Te, and supports the Energy-Efficient Ethernet feature to reduce idle mode power consumption. Power saving at the system level is also possible with the Wake-on-LAN feature. The MxL86112C is the commercial version, while the MxL86112I is the industrial version.
