Littelfuse CG4 Miniature Gas Discharge Tubes (GDTs) provide high levels of protection against fast-rising transients caused by lightning disturbances. Littelfuse CG4 provides a 3kA 8/20µs surge rating and comes in a two-terminal surface mount package (6.2mm width x 6.2mm height x 4.2mm length). CG4 GDTs feature an 800V to 3000V voltage range designed for surge protection and high isolation applications. Littelfuse CG4 GDTs ideally serve applications in which bias voltage or signal levels of several hundred volts are normally present. Designers can use these gas discharge tubes along with Littelfuse metal oxide varistors (MOVs) for superior protection performance.
