Io Audio Technologies Speakerlatch™ Connectors
Io Audio Technologies Speakerlatch™ Connectors are specialized electrical connectors designed to handle high-current audio signals. These connectors ensure proper polarity (negative and positive connections) and maintain excellent sound quality. The Speakerlatch connectors include a reinforced plastic shell with four silver-plated contacts designed to withstand the abuse of stage productions. The twist-to-lock motion makes each connection robust and prevents accidental disconnection. These connectors comply with RoHS, REACH, and IEC 61984 standards.
The Speakerlatch connectors feature >1000 mating cycles, >1GΩ insulation resistance, ≤3mΩ contact resistance, and ≤2.5pF capacitance between contacts. These connectors operate within -30°C to 80°C temperature range and offer excellent durability. The Speakerlatch connectors are used in amplifiers and passive speaker applications.
