Infineon Technologies TDA38725A Evaluation Boards
Infineon TDA38725A Evaluation Boards enable the full configuration of the OptiMOS™ IPOL single-voltage synchronous buck regulator TDA38725A IC. The evaluation boards require a single +12V input power and can deliver up to a 25A load current. The Infineon TDA38725A eval board's operation modes and OCP limits are programmable via the XDP™ Designer GUI. This board is used during the designing process for evaluating and measuring characteristic curves and for understanding various features of a part.Infineon’s XDP™ Designer GUI is needed to communicate with the TDA38725 part via I2C. The GUI can be downloaded from Infineon's Toolbox by navigating to the “Tools/Utilities” tab, then scrolling to the “Infineon Developer Center Launcher” section. The page has more detailed instructions on how to install the Toolbox. A dongle driver v59.4 or higher is necessary to communicate with the TDA38725.
