Digilent Basys 3™ Development Board

Digilent Basys 3™ Development Board is a complete, ready-to-use digital circuit development platform based on Xilinx Artix®-7 field-programmable gate array (FPGA). The board not only features the high-capacity FPGA (Xilinx XC7A35T-1CPG236C) but also a collection of USB, VGA, and other ports. The Basys 3 hosts designs, including introductory combinational circuits and complex sequential circuits such as embedded processors and controllers. It includes enough switches, LEDs, and other I/O devices to enable a large number of designs to be completed without additional hardware.

  • 33,280 logic cells in 5200 slices (each slice contains four 6-input LUTs and 8 flip-flops)
  • 1800K bits of fast block RAM
  • 90 DSP slices
  • Five clock-management tiles, each with a phase-locked loop (PLL)
  • Internal clock speeds exceeding 450MHz
  • On-chip analog-to-digital converter (XADC)
