These unidirectional and bidirectional suppressors feature a glass-passivated chip, low inductance, low leakage, excellent clamping capability, and fast response time. The construction entails a JEDEC SMC/DO-214AB molded plastic case over a glass-passivated junction, built-in strain relief, and UL 94V-0-rated flame-retardant epoxy. The series covers 8.0SMDJ12(C)A-HF through 8.0SMDJ36(C)A-HF devices that can be mounted in any position. Comchip Technology 8.0SMDJ SMD Transient Voltage Suppressors have a -55°C to +150°C operating junction and storage temperature range.
