Bourns 1675-01 Rail Surge Protector is designed specifically for railroad wayside applications. This rail surge protector is intended to protect signal and track circuits and other electrical circuits. The 1675-01 surge protector employs a heavy-duty multi-technology protection design that shunts surge current to ground in the event of a lightning strike. This rail surge protector features high current handling/capability, transparent housing, and a magnified fuse indicator window. The 1675-01 rail surge protector offers up to 36V operating voltage and up to 12A operating current. This surge protector is AREMA compliant.
