Analog Devices / Maxim Integrated MAX17557 Synchronous Step-Down Controllers
Analog Devices Integrated MAX17557 4.5V to 60V Synchronous Step-Down Controllers drive nMOSFETs and offer peak-current mode architecture with constant frequency. Current sensing is supported by applying either an external current-sense resistor for accuracy or an inductor DCR resulting in improved system efficiency. Under short-circuit conditions, the current foldback limits MOSFET power dissipation. System optimization is improved under light loads with the provided discontinuous conduction mode (DCM) of operation. The Analog Devices MAX17557 IC can start up monotonically into a pre-biased output. ADI Synchronous Step-Down Controllers operate over a -40°C to +125°C temperature range and are available in a TQFN 20-pin, 4mm x 4mm lead-free package.Features
