Engineers can extend the length of the SFP+ cable up to 300m (984') by purchasing another off-the-shelf OM3 Duplex LC Multimode Fiber Optic Patch Cable. The SFP+ AOC kits utilize OEM-certified SFP+ Optical Transceiver Modules that are identical to the modules sold by other server/storage OEMs. ACD OEM-certified SFP+ AOC Complete Kits are guaranteed to work with all leading brands, including Cisco, HP ProCurve, Dell, Brocade, Netgear, and more.
