MGC3140 Emerald Development Kit

Microchip Technology MGC3140 Emerald Development Kit (DM160238) is a demonstration platform and reference design for the MGC3140 3D Touch and Gesture Controller. The MGC3140 Controller is a single-chip solution that enables 3D gesture control in automotive products such as remote controls, wireless speakers, and radios. Developed using GestIC® Technology, the MGC3140 detects gestures using E-field sensing. The Emerald Development Kit Includes an MGC3140 Controller Board, an I2C to USB Bridge Board, and a 4-layer Reference Hillstar Sensor Board. The Emerald Development Kit can be connected to a PC via a USB cable and used to evaluate the MGC3140 IC and GestIC Technology.  The individual boards can be combined according to the application's needs. Aurea Evaluation GUI Software provides visualization of data generated by the MGC3140 and access to GestIC Library controls and configuration parameters.
