P-1DF-1 & P-1DF-1E SIDACtor Protection Thyristors

Littelfuse P-1DF-1 and P-1DF-1E SIDACtor Protection Thyristors are MS-012 packaged fixed voltage single-port devices designed to protect sensitive Subscriber Line Interface Circuits (SLICs) from damaging overvoltage transients. These thyristors feature integrated fast-switching diodes for positive voltage surges. Both series provide low voltage overshoot and low on-state voltage and do not degrade with use. Littelfuse P-1DF-1 and P-1DF-1E SIDACtor Protection Thyristors are pin-to-pin compatible with industry-standard programmable SO-8 SLIC protectors.

SIDACtor® Protection Thyristors

Littelfuse SIDACtor® Protection Thyristors are thyristor devices used to protect sensitive circuits from electrical disturbances caused by lightning-induced surges, inductive-coupled spikes, and AC power fault conditions. The unique structure and characteristics of the thyristor are used to create an overvoltage protection device with precise and repeatable turn-on characteristics with low voltage overshoot and high surge current capabilities. SIDACtor components are solid state crowbar devices with a patented ion implant technology that ensures effective protection within nanoseconds. Littelfuse SIDACtor Protection Thyristors include a wide range of semiconductor protection thyristor over-voltage transient suppression devices designed to serve requirements of telecom and data networking equipment applications.

P-1DF-1 SLIC SIDACtor Protection Thyristors

Littelfuse P-1DF-1 Fixed Voltage Enhanced Single Port Thyristors are SIDACtor® components designed to protect sensitive SLICs (Subscriber Line Interface Circuits) from damaging overvoltage transients. The components provide single-port protection using a fixed voltage switching device for negative surges. Positive surges are routed through enhanced switching diodes to a ground reference. The MS-012 packaged thyristors are pin-to-pin compatible with industry standard programmable SO-8 SLIC protectors. Surge capability does not degrade after multiple surge events within limit. Littelfuse P-1DF-1 thyristors feature low voltage overshoot, low on-state voltage, and fails short circuit when surged in excess of ratings.
