Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) Diodes

Littelfuse TVS (Transient Voltage Suppression) Diodes are a broad range of circuit protection products designed to protect electronic circuits against transients and overvoltage threats such as EFT (electrically fast transients) and ESD (electro-static discharge). Lightning strikes, inductive load switching, and ESD cause electrical over-stresses associated with the transmission on data lines and electronic circuits. Offered in a variety of surface mount and through-hole circuit board mounting formats, the TVS Diode portfolio includes high peak pulse current and peak pulse power options up to 20kA and 30kW, respectively. Littelfuse TVS Diodes are chosen for the fast response time (low clamping voltage), lower capacitance, and low leakage current. TVS Diodes are available in both unidirectional (unipolar) or bidirectional (bipolar) diodes circuit configurations. 

AQ22 AEC-Q101 Unidirectional TVS Diode

Littelfuse AQ22 AEC-Q101 Unidirectional TVS Diode is AEC-Q101 qualified and ideal for electronic equipment in DC and low-speed applications. The AQ22 protects equipment from damage due to electrostatic discharge (ESD) and other transient events. It safely absorbs repetitive ESD strikes at ±30kV (contact discharge, IEC 61000-4-2) without performance degradation and safely dissipates 27A of 8/20μs induced surge current (IEC 61000-4-5 2nd edition) with very low clamping voltages. Littelfuse AQ22 AEC-Q101 Unidirectional TVS Diode comes in a small SOD323 package that fits 0805 footprints. Typical applications include automotive, medical, computer, and test equipment.

AQx AEC-Q101 TVS Diode Arrays

Littelfuse AQx AEC-Q101 TVS Diode Arrays provide protection for electronic equipment that may experience destructive electrostatic discharges (ESD). These robust diodes can safely absorb repetitive ESD strikes from 7A up to ±30kV (contact discharge, IEC 61000-4-2). These Littelfuse arrays are PPAP capable, single-origin flow from wafer creation through testing, tape, and reel. Littelfuse AQx automotive-grade TVS diode arrays offer durable protection for current and emerging interfaces in the automotive industry.
