Taiyo Yuden MCOIL™ Metal Power Inductor Series is the first of a series of coil components that use metallic magnetic materials optimal for use in choke coils for power supply circuits in compact mobile devices such as smartphones and tablet PCs that are becoming smaller, thinner, and more feature-rich. The two product classes of the MCOIL™ Metal Power Inductor Series, the wirewound chip power inductor MAMK2520 and metal core SMD power inductor MDMK2020, combine with Taiyo Yuden's advanced process technology to achieve the best-in-class DC bias characteristics in the industry as well as size reduction. 

Automotive-Grade Products

TAIYO YUDEN Automotive-Grade Products consist of AEC-Q200 qualified and TS-16949 factory-certified multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs), inductors, and ferrite beads that withstand the harsh conditions required of automotive applications.  Featuring long lifetimes and low failure rates, these high-reliability components are also suitable for industrial equipment and medical equipment. TAIYO YUDEN automotive-grade inductors have undergone stringent evaluation tests corresponding to AEC-Q200, a reliability testing standard for automotive electronic parts.
